WIC Online Trainings

The HHS Texas WIC Program chose Arrowhead to help transform staff-intensive and logistically difficult professional development to web-based online training. Arrowhead has produced 15 professional development trainings consisting of over 50 chapters of content, including such topics as Human Trafficking, Blood Collection Training, Childhood Nutrition, Prenatal Nutrition, Infant Feeding, Welcome to WIC and Women’s Health. Each training is developed using adult learning and instructional design principles, animation, and short videos. This product training portfolio has helped Texas WIC standardize its training, measure participation and achieve cost efficiencies.
